March 27, 2026
Dear MHS Community,
We’ve had a great first week back from Spring Break, with strong teaching and learning happening across Mead High School. As we move into April, there are many exciting opportunities ahead for our students. It’s shaping up to be a busy and engaging stretch of the semester.
Performing Arts
Our students have been hard at work preparing for our spring musical, Freaky Friday! Performances will take place April 15th–18th at 6:30 p.m. in the auditorium. We hope you will come out to support our talented performers and staff.
Our spring concert season is also right around the corner:
- Band: April 28th
- Orchestra: May 5th
- Choir: May 6th
Athletics
Spring sports are in full swing, and our Maverick athletes are off to a strong start. Baseball earned an exciting win over Holy Family this week and is now 7–1 on the season.
Looking ahead:
- Girls Lacrosse travels to Holy Family on Monday
- Tennis hosts Horizon on Monday
- Girls Golf competes at Windsor on Monday
- Varsity Track will compete at the Altitude Invite on Saturday, April 4th
We are proud of the effort and dedication our student-athletes are showing early in the season.
Class of 2026
