We have had an exciting and eventful week at Mead High School!
Celebrations & Highlights
- Senior Night: Last Friday, we honored our seniors in Band, Color Guard, Football, Cheer, Dance. Shout out to our Mav Broadcast Crew and the SVVSD Student Drone Team for an unforgettable halftime performance!
- Trick or Treat Street & Haunted Hallway: Thank you to Ms. Berry and all student volunteers for creating a wonderful community event supporting our Choir program.
- Cheer and Dance Family & Friends Night: Our Dance Team showcased their competition routine for family and friends, great job to all involved!
Athletics
- Volleyball had a great victory against Longmont on their Senior Night, and the team competes today in a tournament at the World Arena!.
- Best wishes to our Cross Country athletes competing at State in Colorado Springs tomorrow.
- Our Football Team plays a major game at Windsor this evening, go Mavs!
Performing Arts
We are excited for our Fall Play, “Puffs.” Students enjoyed a preview during advisory this week.
Performances will be held November 6, 7, and 8 at 6:30 PM in the MHS Auditorium.

Reminders
- Late Start Wednesday: Our next Late Start is November 5. Students will be allowed in the building beginning at 9:30 AM and 1st block begins at 10:15 AM.
- AP Exam Registration: The deadline to register for AP exams is November 7, 2025. Please register here or contact Assistant Principal Lindsay LaPorte ([email protected]) if you have any questions or scholarship needs.
