Dear MHS Families,
As we head into the final stretch of the semester, we’re proud of how our students are learning, performing, competing, and leading across so many areas. Below are a few highlights and recent celebrations.
Performing Arts
Our performing arts students have had a fantastic couple of weeks:
- Choir Concert: Tuesday, December 3rd – a beautiful performance to kick off the winter season.
- Beginning Theatre One Acts: Wednesday, December 4th – our Theatre students showcased their creativity and talent on stage.
- Band Concert: Tuesday, December 10th – a fantastic concert with musical guests Ms. Meyer and Mr. Holskin.
- Orchestra Concert: Thursday, December 11th – a strong finish to our winter concert series.
Several of our Theatre students are also attending ThesCon this week and continuing to grow through workshops and performances.
Athletics
Winter athletics are underway, and our students are already off to a strong start:
- Girls and boys basketball have started their seasons, and all of our teams are excited to be playing games and competing!
- Girls Wrestling is competing at the Poudre Invite tomorrow, Saturday, December 13th.
- Boys Wrestling recently traveled to Montana for their season-opening tournament and followed it up with a great team victory over Frederick yesterday.
- Unified Bowling competed in the regional championships and ended the season on a high note!
- Cheer and Poms represented MHS well at the Grand Peaks League Championships and are competing at the State Championships this weekend.
We are proud of all of our student-athletes and grateful to our coaches for their leadership and support.
Looking Ahead
