The Mav es el periódico escolar de la escuela Mead High escrito por estudiantes para estudiantes. El Mav ha sido reconocido por la Asociación de Medios de Comunicación Estudiantil de Colorado (incluyendo el primer lugar en Best in Show tres años consecutivos, 3er lugar por el podcast "Girl Talk", y otros premios para los individuos en nuestro personal). Los participantes del Mav se comprometen con la comunidad de Mead a través del voluntariado, asistiendo a desfiles y entregando anuncios escolares utilizados para informar a los estudiantes en MHS.
