Mead HS students will use Naviance for College and Career Planning, searching for scholarships and completing their Individual Career and Academic Plan (ICAP). Each student has their own individual account on Naviance, which can be accessed by using their district assigned username and password.
College and Career Planning
Students can use Naviance to begin researching colleges and exploring careers. Students can take virtual tours of colleges and watch thousands of career videos as they begin to explore what they want to do when they graduate. Additionally, Naviance has a number of career assessments that provide students with lists of careers that match their interests, personality, strengths and learning style.

ICAP – Individual Career and Academic Plan
ICAPs include a combination of factors: class selection; post-secondary career planning; college and career readiness; goal setting, resume building and individual meetings with counselor/student. Most ICAP requirements and activities will be completed during MAV20 and individual meetings with counselors.
