Boettcher Scholarship Recipient

MHS senior Kenna Stephen has been awarded the Boettcher Foundation Scholarship.
Boettcher Scholarships recognize Colorado's top students by providing them with the funds to attain an excellent in-state education and access to aditional opportunities to enrich their time in college and beyond.
"Boettcher Scholars are selected for their academic achievement, outstanding character, and service and leadership in their schools and communities," said Katie Kramer, President and CEO of the Boettcher Foundation. "The Boettchers Foundation's scholarship selection process is competitive and rigourous.  Kenna really stood out with her commitment both in and out of the classroom."
The Boettcher Scholarship program awards 42 scholarships each year.  The scholarship includes essentially all expenses to attend the Colorado school of their choice: full tuition, fees, a book allowance, and an annual stipend for living expenses.  The award is granted for eight semesters or 12 quarters at either a public or private four-college or university in the state.

2021 Teacher Recognition Awards
The Teacher Recognition Awards Program was established by the Trustees of the Boettcher Foundation in 1992 to provide an opportunity for Boettcher Scholars to extend their gratitiude to the teachers who have dedicated themselves to providing Colorado students with an outstanding education.  Kenna chose Mr. Reynolds.
In addition to receiving a plaque, Mr. Reynolds will receive a $500 grant to use toward an educational program, professional development, or project to benefit students at our school.  We are incredibly proud to have Mr. Reynolds as a teacher in our school community and thank him for inspiring not only our students but also setting a standard of excellence for others in the profession.
Congratulations to Kenna and Mr. Reynolds!
