11th Grade Parents and Students:
Mead High School is proud to offer a 5-hour SAT seminar available to all 11th graders on March 5, 2018. The seminar will be hosted by Sycamore Learning and will take place during the school day at Mead HS from 9:00 am - 2:30 pm. Students who take part in the seminar will have EXCUSED absences (school related).
The seminar is a tremendous opportunity for students to prepare for the upcoming state mandated SAT exam on April 10, 2018. The seminar will focus on ALL sections of the SAT exam (reading, writing, math), as well as strategies to navigate the test. Students will take shortened practice tests to get used to the types of questions on the test and be provided with a multitude of tips and strategies to help them on each section of the test.
The students will also be provided a study guide with:
Breakdown of each test
4 full-length practice tests with detailed answer explanations.
For a small fee of $69 for the seminar, you can register by contacting:
Doug Gordon, Dean of Students:
phone (720) 494-3955.
The cost of the seminar can be added to your school fees and paid through RevTrak or paid by check directly to Mead High School.
(see Dainele Mendenhall in the main office)
This will be the only SAT strategies seminar offered by Mead High School before the state mandated SAT test on April 10, 2018.
Feel free to contact Doug Gordon, Dean of Students, if you have any questions regarding registration or funding the cost of this important resource.
